Who is coco and is she really DOING PINK?

Coco is the fun, pink version of each of us. It’s also me, Corri, the founder of Black Wednesday.

I saw a meme that said, “you know a girl is healing when she starts liking pink again,” and that hit me. As a wearer of black for more than a decade, I wanted to do something totally different here. Pink is cliché, cute, and “girly.” At a time when being a woman is incredibly scary and threatening, we’re leaning into it. Why not own it while we still can (breathy sigh)?

We are our mother’s daughters, but we are NOT our mothers… or their mothers. So let’s stay busy, do all the things, chase after all our dreams. Just remember to check our page and keep that hair/tan/botox looking tight along the way.
